Buffalo Jeans Fall Giveaway Official Rules 

 

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. 

 

Eligibility: Sweepstakes for BuffaloJeans.com (hereafter, “Sweepstakes”) is open to legal residents of Canada (excluding residents of the province of Quebec) and the United States who are 18 years of age or older as of date of entry. Employees, officers & directors of  Centric Canada Apparel And Accessories ULC and each of its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, related entities, partners, partnerships, principals, representatives, successors & assigns, & advertising/promotion/administrative agencies (collectively “Released Parties”) & their immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling & their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) & those living in their same households, whether or not related, are not eligible to participate or win a prize. 

Void where prohibited or restricted by law, rule or regulation. All applicable provincial, federal, state and local laws apply. This Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram. You are providing your information to the Sponsor. The information you provide will only be used for Sweepstakes purposes. 

 

Sweepstakes Submission Period: Sweepstakes submission period begins on Sunday, September 17th 2023 at 12 PM EST and ends on Wednesday, October 31st 2023 at 11:59 PM EST (hereafter, “Sweepstakes Period”). 

 

How to Participate in the Sweepstakes: 

To submit 1 entry into the contest, entrants must provide a valid name, email address and telephone number on www.buffalojeans.com/pages/contest. Entrants will earn additional entries by completing various actions on this page; following Buffalo Jeans’ Instagram account will earn them 5 additional entries, following Buffalo Jeans’ TikTok account will earn them 4 additional entries, following Buffalo Jeans’ Facebook account will earn them 3 additional entries, Following Buffalo Jeans’ Pinterest account will earn them 2 additional entries and following Buffalo Jeans’ Youtube account will earn them 1 additional entry. 

 

Sweepstakes Winners: 1 winner will be chosen at random on November 1st 2023.  

 

Prize: There is one (1) prize to be won (the "Prize"), the winner will receive a $500 Buffalo Jeans Online Gift Card. The sponsor's online store is www.buffalojeans.com for the US resident or www.buffalojeans.ca for the Canadian resident. The prize will expire on December 31 2024.  

 

Winner Notification: On or about November 2nd, 2023, the Sweepstakes winners will be notified. The Sweepstakes winners will be notified via email. No cash or other substitution, assignment or transfer of prizes permitted, except by Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute a prize with another prize of equal or greater value. Winners are solely responsible for any and all additional applicable fees and taxes associated with prizes’ receipt and use, including but not limited to transportation and parking. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. In the event that any potential winning entry form selected for any of the prizes is discovered to be invalid for any reason whatsoever, or if the potential winner does not contact Sponsor within 48 hours to claim the Prize or does not return the required Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability Release and/or Publicity Release, if any, another winner will be selected, subject to the same rules and conditions set forth herein. Likewise, if any original winner is ineligible or fails to timely return the signed Affidavit and Release(s), or in the event of non-compliance with any other requirements of this Sweepstakes, the winner shall forfeit the prize in its entirety, and Sponsor will award the prize to the alternate winner. 

 

Entry Details: Message and data rates apply if you choose to enter using your mobile device. By entering, each entrant warrants and represents that his/her Submission does not defame or otherwise violate the rights of any third party and does not violate any federal, state or local laws or ordinances. Entrants further warrant and represent that grant Sponsor and the Released Parties a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sub licensable, unconditional and transferable license to edit, adapt, modify, publish, exploit and use the Submission in any way and in any media for trade, advertising, promotional and/or other purposes as Sponsor and/or its designees may determine without further consideration, notification or permission of entrants, winner or any third parties. The name of the “email address” will be deemed to be the entrant and must comply with these Official Rules. Released Parties are not responsible for lost, incomplete, late, damaged, delayed, garbled, inaccurate, incomplete or misdirected entries, Submissions or email messages; failures or malfunctions of phones, phone lines or telephone systems or other communications malfunctions; interrupted or unavailable network, server or other connections, miscommunications, failed computer hardware or software or other technical failures; garbled, lost, misrouted or scrambled transmissions; any error, omission, interruption, defect or delay in any transmission or communication; traffic congestion on the Internet or for any technical problem, including but not limited to any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in this Sweepstakes; printing, typographical or other errors appearing within these Official Rules or in any Sweepstakes-related advertisements or other materials; or other errors or problems of any kind whether mechanical, human, technical, electronic or otherwise; or the administration of the Sweepstakes; or the processing of entries or submissions. Use of any device to automate or subvert the entry process is prohibited and any entries or submissions received through such means will be void.  

 

Miscellaneous: No transfer, assignment, cash redemption or substitution of prize (or portion of prize) permitted except by Sponsor who reserves the right to substitute a prize (or applicable portion of prize) of comparable or greater value, at its sole discretion. Failure to satisfy any of the foregoing, comply with these Official Rules or any prize or prize notification being returned as non-deliverable or Sponsor being unable to contact potential winner within a reasonable time period for any reason will result in prize being forfeited. By participating, each entrant acknowledges and agrees: (1) to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor are final and binding in all respects, (2) that Released Parties and their respective designees shall have the right and permission to use (unless prohibited by law) entrant’s name, voice, city and state of residence, photograph and/or likeness for advertising and/or trade and/or any other purpose in any media now or hereafter known without further compensation, permission or notification to entrants or any third parties as well as the winner’s nominee’s name, voice, city and state of residence, photograph and/or likeness for advertising or any other purpose in any media now or hereafter known without further compensation; and (3) the Released Parties shall have no liability and will be held harmless by entrants for any liability, loss, injury or damage to participants or any other person or entity, including personal injury or death to participants or any other person or damage to personal or real property, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by reason of entrant’s participation in this Sweepstakes, the use of any video or acceptance, possession, use or misuse of a prize (including any travel/activity relates thereto). Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to void suspect Submissions or to modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the Sweepstakes (or any portion thereof) should virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes, including but not limited to war or armed conflict (whether or not officially declared), labor controversy or threat thereof, and/or acts of God, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the Sweepstakes and, in the event of such cancellation, suspension or termination, at its discretion, as applicable, select the Prize winner from among all non-suspect, eligible Submissions received prior to event requiring cancellation, termination or suspension. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY PERSON OR PERSONS, WHETHER OR NOT AN ENTRANT, TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE ASSOCIATED WITH THIS SWEEPSTAKES OR UNDERMINE THE CONTENT OR LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR WILL DISQUALIFY ANY SUCH ENTRANT, AND SPONSOR, AND THEIR RESPECTIVE AGENTS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK ANY AND ALL REMEDIES FROM ANY PERSON OR PERSONS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. 

 

Choice of Law: The Contest shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of New York state. Except where prohibited by law, any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Contest but in no event attorneys' and/or experts’ fees; and winner hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages (including attorney’s fees), other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. Each prize winner acknowledges that no other party nor any agent or attorney of any other party has made any promise, representation or warranty whatsoever, express or implied, not contained herein concerning the subject matter hereof, to induce the winner to execute any document and the winner acknowledges that he or she has not executed any document in reliance on any such promise, representation or warranty not contained herein. Any waiver by Sponsor and its affiliates of any term of any document in a particular instance shall not be a waiver of such term for the future. The winner agrees that the invalidity or enforceability of any part of any document shall in no way affect the validity or enforceability of any of the remainder of that document.
